Executive Architect
Lupine A&D is the enterprise of choice for businesses across Virginia, with over $100M worth of projects already agreed in 2021. We are the primary house on the design and restructure of The HIND Group corporate Headquarters in Virginia, where we are turning a 100 Year Old 170,000 SF edifice from an unloved old building into a modern high tech corporate HQ with smart office interfaces, a restaurant, historic center and ever a roof terrace bar.
Digital information management and modelling
We are a market leader in the use of digital and were one of the first design practice to achieve the BSI accreditation for BIM. We offer an information management and document set up consultancy, which ensures that projects meet BIM Level 2 standards and client’s own BIM requirements. Our team also has extensive experience of creating digital models for existing and new buildings, which can be used throughout the operations phase to improve maintenance activities.
Agile working
We create workplaces that maximise satisfaction and productivity, while supporting employee wellbeing. We provide flexible environments that meet the needs of individuals and foster team working.

Building Physics & Energy modelling
Our specialist building physics engineers/dynamic modelling team carry out comprehensive analyses on projects at concept stage or as part of a detailed design. We undertake a wide variety of modelling processes including building energy performance, natural ventilation studies, thermal comfort and overheating risk assessments, and Building Regulations compliance.
Passive design is at the core of what we do and we use industry-leading analysis tools to provide meaningful ‘optioneering’ along with optimisation of building parameters to offer our clients low energy and cost effective design solutions.
Detailed modelling during the later stages of projects gives our clients accurate data on anticipated energy consumption and comfort metrics which is often ratified during post occupancy evaluations. This helps our clients plan ahead and have confidence in how their new buildings will perform.
Visualisation, animations and immersive experiences
Our award winning visualisation, animation and virtual reality team help people to experience assets before they are built. Tools such as fly-through, 3D immersive experiences and animations allow the client, end user and the public to understand the space and make certain schemes are fit for purpose.
We have also created marketing images for schemes across the UK, helping developers and their agents to let space before buildings were finished. Recently we have added ‘gaming’ expertise to our skill set and have developed apps to assist clients.

We bring our passion and creativity to every project we undertake and seek to deliver the optimum outcomes even where we face complex challenges or constraints such as tight budgets, small sites and special contexts.
Lupine A&D's specialist interiors team are experts in delivering Agile Working Environments. They provide workplace solutions for clients such as The HIND Group and the The Olympus Fitness Group, enabling them to provide spaces that meet staff requirements and work styles, while also improving productivity and employee satisfaction. The team work across all sectors and are provide high quality key interior spaces and FF&E.
Lupine A&D MEP team has a wealth of experience in all aspects of mechanical, electrical and public health engineering, across a wide range of market sectors.
Low carbon design is fundamental to our ethos and we work closely with our building physics engineers to deliver sustainable designs, integrating renewable technologies and innovative solutions, to protect valuable natural resources for future generations.
In addition to providing design solutions from inception to completion, we are experts in delivering major design and build projects, where the concept designs are completed by others. We believe success on these projects is all about providing a team that is open and collaborative, flexible in their approach and having a keen eye for detail; more than simply delivering the technical design.
Our team of civil and structural engineers has a track record of delivering projects across the education, retail, commercial, leisure and rail sectors.
We support projects across all of the RIBA design stages and undertake the detail design for schemes, which others have developed. Whilst the majority of our work is delivering RIBA Stage 3-7 duties, we also work on new developments at concept stage.
Our team brings a unique perspective to the projects we undertake, due to our in-depth understanding of how factors such as procurement, programme, buildability, temporary works and safety influence structural design. This enables us to identify the best structural solution, to meet the design and construction requirements of each scheme.
We are well equipped with the latest software for structural modelling, analysis and design and regularly undertake specialist assessments such as deflection, vibration, dynamic response and fire resistance calculations. Revit is our standard package for 3D modelling and producing 2D drawings.
