The Vulpine Financial's Headquarters
A high tech edifice allowing the client to expand aggressively across central IL
Foxton House was originally a local bank in Calumet City, Now taken over by the Vulpine Financial Group as their North American Headquarters.
Vulpine want to demonstrate to their customers that they are conscientious and mindful of the future by creating a smart office that operates in a net positive manner.
Stage 1 - Urgent Care
Infrastructure and clean tech
Our first port of call will be to create an infrastructure that can support the needs of the Vulpine Group, this means stablising the roof structures to ensure that can take the load of the Photovoltaic panels. We will also need to create a UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) in the basement, this is basically a large room with the ability to store and redistribute any power generated by the building
Managing both cost and efficiency to maximise the building's operations
A building's HVAC systems can quickly become one of the major costs of operations for any company, Lupine will be working with a preferred network of suppliers to create an HVAC system that monitors, preempts usage spikes and lows, allowing for a smarter way to heat and cool the building.
We will be working very closely with Lupine A&D to ensure the interiors use natural ways to monitor things such as humidity. This means we will be looking to have living walls and a number of small atriums as well.
Creating scalability now will add value on the back end
Many clients look to save money by installing systems that will work fine for a few years, thankfully Vulpine have agreed to spend a little extra on cabling and lighting systems, allowing us to install systems that are not only going to save them $$ in operating costs, but will also ensure that the building can be easily upgrading to the latest technologies as and when they become available for relatively low cost.
Its not just a nice view
Inferior glazing is one of the biggest contributors to high operating costs and can increase the amount of stress on the HVAC system which in turn reduces sustainability. Vulpine have opted for a full review of the glazing structures and where needs be we will overhaul the entire edifices windows to ensure they are Modern and efficient at temperature control and noise reduction.
Stage 2 - Renovations
A Modern and light headquarters befitting a Financial institution
Vulpine want to ensure that their office is fit for purpose but also reflects the corporate values they hold so dear. This is why they are working very closely with Lupine A&D to create a truly impressive interior.
